THE VISEGRAD UNIVERSITY STUDIES GRANTS (VUSG) 2014

Description                                               

The Visegrad University Studies Grants (VUSG) pro­gram tar­get­ing the coun­tries of the Eastern Partnership (EaP: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine) expands the cur­rent VUSG pro­gram and offers grant fund­ing to projects devel­op­ing uni­ver­sity courses of degree pro­grams that will be launched at col­leges and uni­ver­si­ties accred­ited in the EaP coun­tries. The pro­gram enables these col­leges, uni­ver­si­ties or their legal units (schools, fac­ul­ties) to apply with pro­pos­als for courses or pro­grams of var­i­ous aca­d­e­mic fields that focus on shar­ing spe­cific V4 expe­ri­ence with democ­ra­ti­za­tion and trans­for­ma­tion process, regional coop­er­a­tion, the EU acces­sion process, etc.
The course/program can be taught in any lan­guage. The course/program is expected to secure for each semes­ter of its enroll­ment at least two/three rel­e­vant guest lec­tur­ers from two V4 coun­tries (oth­ers than that of the applicant).

Budget

Approximate support for course within the Grant is EUR 10,000.
Approximate support for program within the Grant is EUR 40,000.

Eligibility

Any public or private University in an Eastern Partnership country (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine) is eligible for the Grant
