While Jordan depends on imports 96% of its primary energy requirements, renewable energy provides a minimal contribution to energy supply: soler water heating is officially estimated at 1.6% of total primary energy requirements. Hydroelectricity, biogas, solar and water energy all together cdontribute to 0.5% of electricity generation or 0.2% of prime energy supply.
Size of grants
Any grant requested under this Call for Proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
- Minimum amount: EUR 200.000
- Maximum amount: EUR 750.000
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the applicant must:
- be legal persons
- be specific type of organization such as: non- governmental organization, public sector operator, local authority or international
organization
- be established in a Member State of European Union or Jordan
