Contract description

This project is designed to parallel, deepen and extend the support being provided to the MoF, SAO and the Parliament through the Public Finance Policy Reform Programme. In accordance with the provisions of the Budget Support Guidelines, it is not intended that the project will directly assist the beneficiary Ministries to meet either the General or Specific Conditions for the release of the periodic tranches of the PFPR.
In order to achieve the expected specific results, the work will be organized under three components:
Component 1: Provide technical assistance in order to respond to needs and demands of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, State Audit Office of Georgia, and the Parliament of Georgia
Component 2: Regular reporting on PFM reforms and trends
Component 3: Greater awareness and knowledge of the EU's contribution to public finance reforms

Budget

  - Maximum budget: EUR 1.500.000.

Eligibility

Participation is open to all natural persons who are nationals of and legal persons which are effectively established in a Member State of the European Union or in a eligible country or territory as defined under the Regulation (EU) N°236/2014 establishing common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for external action (CIR) for the applicable Instrument under which the contract is financed (see also heading 22 below) . Participation is also open to international organisations.
