Eligibility

Qualifications and skills

   - University degree in international law with specialisation in international arbitration law or international human rights law
   - Thorough knowledge of European human rights system or of the international system of arbitration
   - Ability to ensure good communication and co-ordination with project partners, contracting authority and other local partners and
     stakeholders
   - Excellent presentation and organisational skills, strong intercultural communication skills
   - Fluent written and oral communication in English, computer literate
   - Knowledge of Georgian language would be an asset.

General professional experience

   - At least 5 years working experience as a core staff in the field of international law in a public sector administration, as a lawyer or as a
     consultant in international law to a public sector body

Specific professional experience

   - Experience in assessing and developing institutional and administrative capacity in government ministries
   - Experience in organising and conducting trainings/workshops in areas like negotiation skills, representation skills and legal drafting
   - Experience in reporting to international treaty bodies would be an asset
   - The minimum percentage of assigned working days of key experts under this contract, which the experts should work in the beneficiary
     country, should be not less than 80% of all allocated days, unless prior approval is given in writing by the Contracting Authority
