EUROPEAN PROFILES S.A./ KEY EXPERT 2: LEADER OF COMPONENT 2 - STRENGTHENING OF INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY AND COMPONENT 3 RAISING AWARENESS FOR CONSUMER PROTECTION

Eligibility

Qualifications and skills:

   - Education at least Master Degree Academic level in Law or Economics, or equivalent 5 years of general professional experience above
     the minimum general professional experience requested below.

General professional experience:

   - At least 7 (seven) years of professional experience in areas related to implementationof laws related to consumer protectionand/or market
     surveillance (product safety).

Specific professional experience:

   - At least 5 (five) years of experience in consumer affairs in relation to consumer protectionand/or market surveillance (product safety)
     gained in any of the newest 13 EU Member States or acandidate or a potential candidate country;
   - Experience in conducting legal capacity building and legal harmonization in at least two projects in areas associated with this contract is
     required;
   - Practical experience in consulting consumer related structures - e.g. consumer associations, market surveillance bodies,or development
     and implementation of policies and strategies in consumer protectionand  market surveillance areas would be an asset;
   - Experience gained through working with national inspection authorities in charge for enforcing consumer protection acquis or market
     surveillance in an EU member state, candidate or potentialcandidate country will be an asset.
