Responsibilities


   - Reviews monitoring reports of members of Governance and Community Teams, of Security Monitors and Legal System Monitors for
     issues and concerns related to housing, land and property rights enjoyment;
   - Supports the Property Section in providing guidance, advice and explanations on specific housing and property rights and cultural
     heritage legislation, institutional mechanisms and standards to colleagues working in Governance and Community Teams and other Units
     and Sections in the Headquarters;
   - Gathers information on issues and concerns regarding housing and property rights and cultural heritage protection through
     documentation regarding decisions, legislation and policies of the municipalities, courts, police and Kosovo Property Agency offices and
     other relevant institutions;
   - Co-operates and co-ordinates work with colleagues at Headquarters and Regional Centres working on cultural heritage and property
     rights issues;
   - Monitors and writes reports on specific cultural heritage and property rights trends and issues, in particular in relation to the protection
     of rights and interests of non-Albanian communities and the provision of housing and reconstruction assistance to returnees and displaced
     persons;


Requirements

   - University degree in law, political science, international relations or other related field
   - Knowledge of housing and property rights, cultural heritage protection and related international standards
   - Experience in either international law, constitutional law, European and/or international human rights law and conventions
   - Professional fluency in the English language
   - Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and with limited times frames
   - Cultural sensitivity and judgement
