EMS/ TEAM LEADER/ SENIOR EXPERT (CAT. I)

Requirements

Qualification and Skills:

   - Masters-level degree in Political Science, Economics, Sociology, International Relations, Social Sciences or any other relevant areas, or
     equivalent professional experience;
   - Knowledge of Russian or Azerbaijani would be an advantage;
   - Knowledge of the EU policies and approaches towards civil society would be an advantage;
   - Familiarity with the European Neighbourhood Policy would be an advantage.

General Experience:

   - At least 10 years professional experience gained in policy-making, consulting, project management, capacity building or research on civil
     society related issues;
   - Experience in the evaluation of projects and/or programmes (experience is defined as involvement in at least 3 other project/programme
     evaluations in the last 10 years);
   - Knowledge of project cycle management and the logical framework approach.

Specific Experience:

   - Strong experience of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies (surveys, questionnaires, structured interviews, etc.);
   - Experience with EU funding rules and procedures for external cooperation programmes would be an advantage;
   - Experience working with civil society in the South Caucasus would be an advantage.
