Responsibilities
- Oversees, analyses and reports on systematic advanced and specialized police curricula aspects, ensuring a professional environment that
benefits both students and staff;
- Provides subject matter expertise and assistance to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kosovo Police in the process of analysis of existing
and drafting of new relevant capacity building related documents, strategies and action plans;
- Supervises, assesses and evaluates all aspects of the Training Development as well as advanced and specialized police curricula, ensuring
high quality of instruction and interpretation;
- Arranges the design and delivery of new programs (internally or externally sourced);
- Assists co-ordination of donor efforts in developing the advanced and specialized police training;
Requirements
- Proven working experience as police trainer
- Proven working experience in the field of police training development and management, focussed on the area of advanced and specialized
police training for capacity building purposes, and evaluation of their effectiveness and efficiency
- Evidence of supervisory training, both as a police trainer/instructor and as a manager of training
- Sound knowledge of training methods, conducting training needs analysis as well as adult learning and teaching techniques
- Professional ability to design, co-ordinate and implement training strategies and plans as well as training curricula for police
- Proven experience in project management (planning, designing, budgeting, management, evaluation)
