Description
The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is as follows: To support the justice reform agenda and stakeholders through technical assistance enhancing the capacity of the administration of the Ministry of Justice (MOJ), Judicial Council (JC) and the training capacity of the Jordanian Judicial Institute (JJI).
The specific objectives (SO) of this contract are as follows:
- To clarify the understanding of the responsibilities of the MOJ in relation to Judicial Council based on the framework of recently revised
legislation and regulations/procedures;
- To increase and improve the administrative capacity, the internal organization and coordination of the Ministry and the Judicial Council /
Courts to undertake reform processes to modernize the administration for better and improved service delivery;
- To support to the JJI training capacity to develop a judicial training program –initial, specialized and continuous training- for judges,
prosecutors and Court Administration Staff.
- To improve the external organization and coordination mechanisms of the MOJ and the Judicial Council with other justice sector partners
in order to deal effectively with the mutual reform processes and responsibilities.
Eligibility
Participation is open to all natural legal persons [participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of candidates] which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations. The participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.

Maximum budget: EUR 1,800,000.00
