ACE INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANTS/ EIB - JORDAN’S SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISE (SME) GROWTH PROGRAMME/ KEY EXPERT 2: START-UPS & SME DEVELOPMENT EXPERT

Requirements

Qualifications and skills

   - Holder of a Master Degree in economics, social sciences, engineering or equivalent professional experience;
   - Excellent command of English spoken and written, Arabic would be an advantage;
   - Excellent communication, drafting and reporting skills;
   - Computer literacy in MS office tools.

General professional experience

   - Minimum of 8 years’ wide international experience is required;
   - Experience of at least 5 years in the area of private sector development, development economics/business growth strategies preferably
     with similar projects; and 3 years’ experience at a level of responsibility for programme coordination.

Specific professional experience

   - At least 3 years professional experience in training start-ups and/or SMEs on entrepreneurial and management skills capacity, marketing,
     financial needs, business growth, and general business development and/or program coordination;
   - Experience in organizing call for proposals would be considered as an advantage;
   - Working experience in the MENA region and in Jordan would be considered as an asset.
