HUMAN DYNAMICS KG/ KEY EXPERT 3 - SENIOR LEGAL AND INSTITUTIONAL EXPERT

Background

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to enhance the capacity of the Government of Lebanon and the Lebanese Social Partners and Civil Society to be promoters of social dialogue in order to strengthen social protection and improve and enforce labour legislation.

The purpose of the project is to increase the capacities of the MoL and Tripartite Social Partners to be promoters of Social Dialogue.


Requirements

Qualifications and skills

   - At least Master degree in Law, social policy, public administration or equivalent
   - Excellent command of Arabic, and English or French

General Professional Experience

   - Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the area of social protection or relevant contexts, in particular on legal and institutional
     development acquired in management positions within public administrations (preferably in social Dialogue policy and advisory)
   - Knowledge base in government institutions on critical labour issues and independent organizations of workers and employers, and an
     adequate legal and institutional framework for social dialogue
   - Experience in working with a diverse range of stakeholders in the relevant field is an asset, including liaising with high level government
     officials and in multi-cultural contexts

Specific Professional Experience
 
   - Minimum 5 years or over experience in the design of public laws and regulations in the fields of public administration and/or labour laws
   - Familiar with public consultation in policy making process
   - Previous experience of similar scope in the ENPI region is an asset
