OSCE MISSION TO UKRAINE/ TRAINING OFFICER (VACANCY NUMBER: VNSMUS00169)

Responsibilities

   - Organizes and delivers security briefings for all Mission members and local staff;
   - Liaises and co-ordinates with other training officers for the complete training of Mission members and local staff;
   - Delivers operational and security training to all Mission members;
   - Liaises closely with Team Leaders and Security Officers in the field in order to conduct regular training needs assessments;
   - Produces training guide/manual/modules for security and operations training, and ensures regular updates of training packages;
   - Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the security and operational training;


Requirements

   - University degree or equivalent in social sciences, police, military or related field
   - Trainer/Instructor in operations or security procedures
   - Demonstrated experience in planning and designing training packages including operations and security training
   - Demonstrated experience in developing, planning and delivering training related to operations and security
   - Excellent communication, presentation and team-building skills
   - Ability to work with minimum supervision in an environment where rapid response to emergencies is essential
   - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds whilst maintaining
     impartiality and objectivity
   - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
