EURONET CONSULTING EEIG/SUPPORT FOR THE RAILWAY REGULATORY AUTHORITY (RRA)/RAILWAYS SAFETY EXPERT

Global objective

Global objective of the project is to support reform implementation in Kosovo railways sector in compliance with the initiative for establishing a regional railway transport area and with the Kosovo legislation. The specific objective of this contract is to provide capacity building to the staff of RRA on railways safety regulation, legal and licensing, market regulation and interoperability.

Expert profile

Qualifications and skills

   -Masters Degree Academic level in Engineering or other relevant discipline, or a bachelors degree1 (where a university degree has been
    awarded on completion of three years study in a university or equivalent institution) in Engineering, or minimum 15 years of professional
    experience in Engineering.
   -Excellent written and spoken English.

General experience

   -10 years experience related to the lot.

Specific professional experience

   -Min 5 years of relevant professional experience in railways sector
   -Experience with at least one project (or equivalent 3 years) on railways safety inspections and on reviewing/assessing safety applications
    for railways undertakings;
   -Experts are required to be familiar with the European directives on railways sector and in particular in the fields relevant to this
    assignment. In addition the Contractor has to appoint the team leader.
   -Working language in this contract is English.

Location & Duration: Kosovo – 65 working days.
