OSCE MISSION TO SERBIA/ ORGANIZED CRIME ADVISER (VACANCY NUMBER: VNSRMS00422)

Responsibilities

   - Provides advice and assistance on prosecution-led investigation;
   - Provides advice and assistance on implementation of local and national strategies to deal with organized crime investigation of organized
     and serious crimes, including corruption offences;
   - Prepares formal proposals identifying areas of needs, including technical equipment, crime investigation training and/or specialist
     assistance;
   - Co-ordinates the selection of international police specialists;
   - Assesses training needs; develops, manages and evaluates crime training programmes;
   - Liaises with international police liaison officers as appropriate;
   - Supervises and evaluates organized crime project implementation to ensure cost effectiveness;


Requirements

   - Substantial, recent experience in investigation of trans-national, organized and serious crimes, including corruption
   - Experience in prosecution-led criminal investigations
   - Experience in applying modern crime investigation methods
   - Experience in the development, management and implementation of training courses for staff development, both generic and specialized
   - Experience in project management: planning, budgeting, implementation and evaluation
   - Excellent drafting and presentation skills
   - Professional fluency in English, both oral and written
