Duties and Responsibilities
• Under the supervision of the Project Manager develop an annul work plan and performance monitoring plan for project activities in
Macedonia and ensure links with UN Women’s commitment under UNDAF and UN Women Strategic Plan
• Coordinate the implementation of relevant project activities with current and potential partners, consultants and stakeholders;
• Undertake and systematically document monitoring of activities towards achieving the result as formulated in the Project Document,
• Based on the capacity assessment of the partners, prepare a capacity building strategy/ plan
• Provide inputs in project progress reports including financial reports or other project related exercises such as evaluations, summaries of
lessons learned or follow-up plans
• Hold consultations with the project partners and other stakeholders in order to ensure timely information about the project
implementation
• Prepare complete documentation necessary for signing contracts and MoUs with the partners, individual and other service providers
• Manage the activities’ financial resources in accordance with UN Women/UNDP rules and regulations;
• Manage project files and support information collection & dissemination,
• Provide timely information about the project activities for UN Women website and contribute the the country-relevant information/
updates
• Undertake missions, as needed for the project’s purposes
• Support the Regional Project Manager with translation as needed
• Support Office Finance and Admin assistance on programme procurement/procedures related to the project (Collecting of Offers,
preparation of Travel Authorization, Travel Claims and related logistics)

• Ability to work timely even under pressure without losing focus on the objectives and priorities;
Required Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in economics, social science or related disciplines. Master’s Degree will be an asset.
• Substantive knowledge of women’s human rights and gender equality national and international frameworks,
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. Previous employment experience with international organisations is an asset as
is previous work on gender equality;
• Demonstrated experience in programme/project design and management;
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills in both Macedonian and English;
• Strong computer skills.
