Youth Capacity Building projects aim to:
- foster cooperation and exchanges in the field of youth between Programme Countries and Partner Countries from different regions of the
world
- improve the quality and recognition of youth work, non-formal learning and volunteering in Partner Countries and enhance their synergies
and complementarities with other education systems, the labour market and society
- foster the development, testing and launching of schemes and programmes of non-formal learning mobility at regional level (i.e. within and
across regions of the world)
- promote transnational non-formal learning mobility between Programme and Partner Countries, notably targeting young people with
fewer opportunities, with a view to improving participants' level of competences and fostering their active participation in society.
Grants
Maximum grant awarded for a Capacity Building project: EUR 150 000.
Eligibility
A participating organisation can be any public or private organisation, established in a Programme Country or in a Partner Country from an eligible Partner Country. For example, such organisation can be:
- a non-profit organisation, association, NGO (including European Youth NGOs)
- a national Youth Council
- a public body at local, regional or national level
- a school/institute/educational centre (at any level, from pre-school to upper secondary education, and including vocational education and
adult education)
- a public or private, a small, medium or large enterprise (including social enterprises)
- a higher education institution, etc.
