Background

This call for proposals is based on the Regulation (EU) n° 1288 /2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2013 establishing Erasmus+, the Union programme for action in the field of education, training, youth and sport for the period from 1st January 2014 to 31 December 2020.
On the basis of the Regulation, and in particular action 3 "Support for policy reform" (as referred to in Article 6 (1)(c) and further set forth in Article 9 (1)(a)), the European Commission (‘the Commission’) in cooperation with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (the ‘Agency’) is inviting the submission of proposals for delivering on efficient and accessible Continuing Vocational
Education and Training (CVET) as a follow-up to the Bruges Communiqué on enhanced European cooperation in VET (2010). The Agency has been entrusted by the Commission with the management of this call for proposals.

Budget

The total budget earmarked for the co-financing of projects is estimated at maximum EUR 4.200.000.
The grant per project will be between a maximum of EUR 150.000 for a one-year and a maximum of EUR 300.000 for a two-year project. The Agency expects to fund around 15 proposals.
The Agency reserves the right not to distribute all the funds available.

Eligibility

The present call is open to National Authorities in charge of CVET in each country of the Erasmus+ programme. Grant applications must be submitted by at least two entities from at least two different programme countries. The eligible applicant (coordinator) must be a National Authority or an organisation designated by the National Authority which is responsible for VET, including CVET and is located in a programme country.
