Description

Hill is currently submitting a proposal for the Supervision for Revitalization of the Supervision of Vlora waterfront project construction works - Phase 1 – located in Vlore, southwest Albania.

The overall objective of this contact is the improvement of living conditions and road transport conditions in Vlora town by completion of works for construction the waterfront project including completion of high quality public spaces.

Team of Experts required for the Implementation and Execution of the Project:


Key expert 1: Team Leader (“Supervisor's Representative”)

Qualifications and skills

    - He/she shall have at least a Master (3+2) or equivalent University Degree in Civil Engineering,
    - He/She shall be fluent in English (min 2 points in the scale from 1 to 5 where 1 is excellent and 5 is basic)

General professional experience

    - He/she should have worked preferably 15 (fifteen) years but as minimum 8 (eight) years in design and supervision of projects including
      road construction.

Specific professional experience

    - He/she should have worked preferably 8 (eight) years but as minimum 5 (five) years as Team Leader/Resident Engineer/Engineer
      Representative/Supervisor's representative in service contracts in charge of supervision of works contracts for construction or
      reconstruction of infrastructure projects related to roads, ports, airports, urban infrastructure.
    - Previous experience in supervision of road works using PRAG, FIDIC condition of contract or any other internationally recognized
      contract conditions used by IFI's will be considered as an asset.


Key expert 2: Site Engineer - Civil/Structural Engineer - (minimum input 300 working days)

Qualifications and skills

    - He/she shall have at least a Master (3+2) or equivalent University Degree in Civil Engineering,
    - He/She shall be fluent in English (min 2 points in the scale from 1 to 5 where 1 is excellent and 5 is basic),
    - Fluency in Albanian langue will be considered as an asset.

General professional experience

   - He/she should have worked preferably 15 (fifteen) years but as minimum 8 (eight) years in design/supervision/construction of large
     infrastructure projects (roads, rail, ports, airports).

Specific professional experience

   - He/she should have worked preferably 8 (eight) years but as minimum 5 (five) years in the position of site supervision engineer in service
     contracts as part of supervision consultant team, in charge of supervision of works for construction of large infrastructure projects
     (roads, rail, ports, airports).
  
- Previous experience in supervision of works using PRAG or FIDIC condition of contract will be considered as an asset.


Key expert 3: Quantity Surveyor - (minimum input 280 working days)

Qualifications and skills

   - He/she shall have at least a Master (3+2) or equivalent University Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
   - He/she shall be fluent in English (min 2 points in the scale from 1 to 5 where 1 is excellent and 5 is basic),
   - Fluency in Albanian langue will be considered as an asset.

General professional experience

   - He/she should have worked preferably 8 (eight) years but as minimum 5 (five) years of topo-surveying experience in design/supervisio
     /construction of large infrastructure projects (roads, rail, ports, airports).

Specific professional experience

   - He/she should have worked preferably 5 (five) years but as minimum 3 (three) years in the position of quantity surveyor in service
     contracts as part of supervision consultant team, in charge of supervision of works for construction of large infrastructure projects
     (roads, rail, ports, airports).
   - Previous experience in supervision of works using PRAG or FIDIC condition of contract will be considered as an asset.
