EUROPEAID/136379/IH/SER/TR: IPA - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE OPERATION “IMPROVING THE ADAPTABILITY OF EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYEES IN TR33 REGION”

Description

The overall objective of this operation is to increase adaptability of employers and employees of SMEs in TR33 Region (Kütahya, Afyonkarahisar, Manisa and Uşak provinces), particularly by promoting lifelong learning and encouraging enterprises, workers and stakeholders to invest in human resources.

The technical assistance contract aims to increase the adaptability of employers and employees by various activities such as:

   - increasing awareness of employers, employees and relevant stakeholders about adaptability and competitiveness.
   - establishing a Regional Human Resources Development Center.
   - developing a new database and software.
   - conducting sectoral development and labour force gap analysis and preparing training programmes.
   - capacity building of employers, employees in SMEs and regional actors via trainings and consultancy services..
   - organizing meetings, trainings and study visits, etc.


Eligibility

Participation is open to all legal persons [participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of tenderers] which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed (see item 22 below). All goods supplied under this contract must originate in one or more of these countries. Participation is also open to international organisations. Participation of natural persons is directly governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.
