Description

The contract aims at (1) strengthening the institutional capacity and competencies of the Georgian Agriculture Cooperatives Development Agency (ACDA) to fulfil the organization’s mandate effectively and efficiently; (2) developing a cadre of trainers and training programmes at local education and training institutions to provide continued capacity building and development services to the agriculture cooperatives in Georgia; (3) developing adequately a trained cadre of agriculture cooperatives' managers and (4) improving the engagement, skills and participation of the agriculture cooperative members in their cooperative organizational and business matters.

Indicative and non-exhaustive activities required in the contract: To carry out training needs assessment of ACDA staff; to develop and implement a comprehensive training programme for ACDA; to organize study tours for ACDA staff; to develop policy norms and standards for streamlining legislative and regulatory environment for cooperative development; to train at least 4,000 managers and members of registered cooperatives.


Eligibility

Participation is open to all natural persons who are nationals of and legal persons [participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of tenderers] which are effectively established in a Member State of the European Union or in a eligible country or territory as defined under the Regulation (EU) N°236/2014 establishing common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for external action (CIR) for the applicable Instrument under which the contract is financed (see also heading 22 below) . Participation is also open to international organisations. All supplies under this contract must originate in one or more of these countries. However, they may originate from any country when the amount of the supplies to be purchased is below100,000 euros per purchase.

Maximum budget 2,500,000 EUR
