Description
Moldova signed the Association Agreement - including a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) - with the European Union on 27th June 2014. This is considered as an important step towards the further integration of Moldova with the EU, and is expected to further
deepen political, economic and trade relations between the two parties.
The overall objective of this project is to accompany the “Support to the Implementation of the DCFTA Process in Moldova” Budget Support Sector Reform Contract. The purpose of the contract is to provide a wide range of capacity-building and institutional-strengthening TA services in the area of Quality Infrastructure, in particular, in the field of metrology, conformity assessment, testing and international cooperation in these areas including recognition; Market surveillance, in particular, in the field of industrial and non-industrial products and services, especially, banking and non-banking sectors; and in the area of developing and diversifying Moldova’s internal and external market conditions and opportunities
Eligibility
Participation is open to all natural persons who are nationals of and legal persons, participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of tenderers which are effectively established in a Member State of the European Union or in a eligible country or territory as defined under the Regulation (EU) N°236/2014 establishing common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for external action (CIR) for the applicable Instrument under which the contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations. All supplies under this contract must originate in one or more of these countries. However, they may originate from any country when the amount of the supplies to be purchased is below100,000 euros per purchase.
