Responsibilities
- To be responsible for design and implementation of the information, communication, visibility and publicity activities,
- To coordinate organization of all events, conferences and seminars
- To ensure the preparation and dissemination of tools and materials to be used during the contract, including the in the social media,
- To provide support and guidance in the organisation of workshops, information meetings and study visits,
- To guide and ensure coordination among the non-key communication expert,
- To prepare visibility materials
- To plan and organize conferences
- To disseminate information on the objectives, results and outcomes of the projects
- To ensure the preparation and maintenance of the website,
- To contribute to the development of the inception, interim and progress reports.
- To undertake other tasks that will be assigned by the Team Leader.
Requirements
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor degree in one of the fields of public relations, communication and marketing or in the absence of such a degree at least 15 years
of working experience in those fields.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Full computer literacy
- Master degree in public relations, communications will be an asset.
General professional experience
- Preferably 8 but a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in the field of public relations and/or communication.
Specific professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing communication strategy/plan and materials (e.g. press release, case study, website,
brochures, etc.) and/or in organizing communication/visibility events
- At least 2 years of experience in planning and implementation of public relations/awareness raising campaigns in a project,
- Experience in written or visual media will be an asset
