EUROPEAID/136171/IH/SER/TR: IPA - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR IMPROVEMENT OF AIR QUALITY IN METROPOLITAN CITIES IN TURKEY (IN LINE WITH CAFE DIRECTIVE)

Description

The purpose of this contract is to contribute to the air quality policies of Turkey in compliance with the EU'acquis' by supporting national emission management system in line with CAFE Directive which determines air quality values with bottom-up approach in the metropolitan cities of Turkey and by preparing local air pollution maps including emission inventory and air quality modeling which will be verified by air quality monitoring data.

Within the scope of this contract, the contractor will provide technical assistance on:

   - Increasing the emission inventory reporting capacity together with local data in line with EU directives;
   - Increasing modelling capacity of stakeholders;
   - Capacity building to combat air pollution;
   - Increasing public awareness for air quality.


Eligibility

Participation is open to all legal persons [participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of tenderers] which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. All goods supplied under this contract must originate in one or more of these countries. Participation is also open to international organisations. Participation of natural persons is directly governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.

Maximum budget EUR 2.500.000
