Requirements
- University education in political sciences, social sciences, international relations, public policy, law or equivalent professional experience
- Work experience in either public administration, relevant international organizations, civic associations (including NGOs), political
parties/affairs, or economic and political development
- Demonstrable organizational, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Identifies, designs, and manages the Section's projects in the northern municipalities in accordance with programmatic priorities, in
particular with respect to municipal accountability, transparency, outreach, inter-municipal co-operation and civil society co-operation
- Develops and implements capacity-development projects in co-operation with the Local Governance Section's National Programme Officer
- Ensures close communication and co-operation with the Senior Democratization Officer (SDO) of the Regional Centre Mitrovicë/Mitrovica
and field teams throughout the project cycle process
- Identifies projects in co-operation with other Mission Departments and Sections and ensures communication and co-operation with the
Mission's Task Force North and its Co-ordinator
