“SHAPE YOUR LIFE” YOUTH EXCHANGE

Description

„Shape Your Life” is the youth exchange that is to be organised by Mladiinfo Montenegro and Mladiinfo Slovakia under the Erasmus+ program. The idea behind this exchange is to experience a whole unique week of healthy behavior, with an aim to show the participants that living healthy does not require much effort and at the same time provides long-term benefits.

We wish to promote healthy behavior that will be understood as a combination of sport, healthy food, activism, mind power-up and becoming empowered. What we want to achieve is to motivate personal development of youth and increase awareness about themselves and the society, to increase their individual capacities through making a balance between their body and mind, to understand sport as all inclusive and open action where everyone can take part and be equally treated, no matter the background or experience as well as to use sport as a tool for enhanced social participation and inclusion.

This project will include 36 participants coming from 6 countries. Participating countries are Slovakia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Germany, Georgia and Poland.


Eligibility

The project aims to be fully inclusive and will therefore bring together participants with different level of physical readiness and different stage of awareness about the healthy lifestyle. Participants at a beginner level in regards to their daily physical activities and awareness of healthy life, participants with intermediate knowledge and skills as well as quite experienced participants in sport and active practitioners of healthy lifestyle are welcome to apply.

The participants at YE Shape Your Life should:

   - Be aged 16 – 30 and should come from Germany;
   - Have been involved in NGO activities and/or are interested in non-formal education;
   - Be interested in sport and healthy lifestyle;
   - Be open-minded, creative and willing to communicate with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
