EUROPEAID/136182/DH/SER/ME: IPA - ENHANCED STATISTICAL CAPACITY AND PROVISION OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL STATISTICS - PODGORICA

Description

The project will improve the capacities of the national statistical authority of Montenegro, MONSTAT, and the statistical system. This will entail the strengthening of the quality of statistics, especially in the fields of macro-economic statistics, business statistics, science, technology and innovation statistics and social statistics. Focus of the project will be inter alia the following:

   - macro-economic statistics, including national accounts: Government Finance Statistics, House Price Index, Supply and Use tables, GDP by
     income approach;
   - business and agricultural statistics: warehouse for business statistics, agro monetary statistics, environmental and forestry;
   - science, technology and innovation statistics: modernize the current statistics system and further align it with EU standards;
   - social statistics: use of administrative sources, creation of address register.


Eligibility

Participation is open to all legal persons [participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of tenderers] which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. All goods supplied under this contract must originate in one or more of these countries. Participation is also open to international organisations. Participation of natural persons is directly governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.
