EUROPEAID/136334/IH/SER/AL: IPA - SUPPORT THE IMPROVEMENT OF STATISTICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM

Description

This service contract will contribute in improving the quality, sustainability and efficiency of production and dissemination of statistical data produced by INSTAT and other official statistics producers as well and further alignment of the Albanian statistics with the EU acquis. This contract will support in strengthening the institutional and technical capacities of INSTAT in the production and use of the agricultural statistics, enhancing the analytical capabilities on labour force statistics as well as strengthening the function of INSTAT related to coordination of the statistical system and to the communication and dissemination of quality official statistics. The contract will also contribute to the development of the proper systems for upgrade ICT infrastructure and establishment and pilot implementation of centralised Data Warehouse(s) in order to organize the data and metadata to better serve the exploratory data analysis and the production of statistical indicators.


Eligibility

Participation is open to all legal persons participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of tenderers which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. All goods supplied under this contract must originate in one or more of these countries. Participation is also open to international organisations. Participation of natural persons is directly governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.
