Responsibilities

   - Performs a wide range of consultative, analytical, advisory and operational tasks towards the implementation of the Office's mandate in
     the above-mentioned dimensions of security;
   - Implements a number of projects in the above-mentioned fields with local partners and ODIHR  (Office for Democratic Institutions and
     Human Rights);
   - Advises the Head of Office on activities under the Democratization Programme;
   - Prepares background or spot reports on democratization issues to foster discussion within the OSCE and to highlight specific topics or
     brief on areas which need to be addressed;
   - Facilitates contacts and promotes information exchange on these issues with local authorities, universities, research institutions, NGOs
     and International Organizations;
   - Assists in arranging OSCE events and seminars, including regional ones, and visits to the area by OSCE delegations, as well as other
     events with OSCE participation;


Requirements

   - Proven work experience in the democratization field - preferably in an international environment or within operational Missions;
   - Proven work experience in programme and project management: project development, monitoring, implementation, financial
     management and reporting (both narrative and financial);
   - Professional fluency in English, both oral and written, and the ability to draft documents clearly and concisely as well as to make public
     presentations;
   - Working knowledge of Russian and/or Armenian languages, highly desirable;
   - Ability to establish contact and develop confident relations with Armenian authorities, including government officials and institutions, e.g.
     ministries and parliament as well as ability to work with civil society and international partners;
   - Good management, organization and analyzing skills, with the ability to identify problems/needs and take corrective action;
