EUROPEAID/136997/DD/ACT/XK: IPA - SUPPORT TO STRATEGIC CSO COALITIONS

The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to enable and stimulate a participatory democracy in Kosovo by creating an environment which promotes partnership and dialogue between civil society and public institutions, and by building the capacity of CSOs to be effective and accountable independent actors.

The specific objective of this Call for Proposals is to enhance CSO inclusion in decision-making processes related to priority areas of the Indicative Strategy Paper for Kosovo, through the provision of predictable, medium-term support to strategic CSO coalitions.

3 grants will be awarded to strategic coalitions of at least 4 CSOs to support their networking and advocacy efforts with regards to one of the priority areas of the Indicative Strategy Paper for Kosovo:

   - Democracy and Governance
   - Rule of Law and Fundamental Rights
   - Energy
   - Competitiveness and Innovation
   - Education, Employment and Social Policies
   - Agriculture and Rural Development


Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a grant, the applicant must:

   - be a legal person and
   - be non-profit-making and
   - be a specific type of organisation: non-governmental organisation or trade union or employers' organisation and
   - be established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country covered by Article 19 of IPA regulation


Budget

The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 3,000,000.00.


Size of grants

   - minimum amount: EUR 950,000.00
   - maximum amount: EUR 1,000,000.00
