Background                                                                                    Maximum amount: 400 000 EUR

The global objective of this Call for Proposals is: to support civil society in Georgia specialised in working on human rights (civil, economic, social and cultural) and democratisation, so as to

Support activities aimed at promoting the issues covered by EU Human Rights guidelines and in the EUs Strategic Framework and Action Plan on Human Rights and Democracy

The specific objectives of this Call for Proposals are:

    - Promoting the rights of vulnerable groups (people with disabilities, children with disabilities, elderly persons,) including their economic,
      social, labour and cultural, rights and rights to equal treatment and their integration into society;
    - Support health and educational rights of vulnerable children;
    - Support for labour rights, enabling social dialogue between different groups (including trade unions), developing mechanisms for
      exchange of opinions and democratic dialogue;
    - Fight against domestic violence;

 
Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a grant, the applicant must:

   - be a legal person and
   - be non-profit-making
   - be a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation, international (inter-governmental) organisation as defined by
     Article 43 of the Rules of application of the EU Financial Regulation.
   - be established in a Member State of the European Union or Georgia. This obligation does not apply to international organisations a


Budget

The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 1 600 000


Size of grants

   - minimum amount: EUR 250 000
   - maximum amount: EUR 400 000
