Description:

A training course for youth workers and Youth leaders willing to promote the Youth in Action programme as an instrument for Inclusion of Roma communities all over Europe will take place from 24-29 February 2012, in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The training will gather youth workers, youth leadets and young people from Roma communities in order show them the specific methods and techniques used in the international Youth in Action Projects.

Objectives:


   - To identify the benefits of international projects within the Youth in Action Programme;
   - To establish contacts between Roma communities all over Europe and share good practicies in attracting the Attention of young Roma
     people;
   - To develop future plans to implement actions/projects at international level.

Profile of participants:


   -The more experienced youth leaders and youth workers are welcome to take with them one or two young people from the local Roma
    community who have never been previously involved in an international event.
   -Youth workers, youth leaders and young people can also come alone, if they wish so and if they are able to communicate in English.

The Applicants should:

   - Be a part of or work with young people from Roma Community;
   - Be active at national level.
   - Be willing to develop projects on international level under the Youth in Action programme.

Costs

Programme, board and lodging, other activity costs will be financed by the Bulgarian National Agency. Sending costs (travel and insurance) can be covered by the respective National Agencies. Please contact your NA for further details to see if they are willing to cover your costs and to learn more about the participation fees (if any). For selected participants from SEE travel costs will be covered by the BG NA within certain limits which will be communicated after the selection is done.
