Requirements
- Police administrative courses in relevant field and specialized subject area
- Minimum 10 years of diversified police experience including at least 12 months operational experience in the relevant field and specialized
subject area
- Professional fluency in the English language, both oral and written
Responsibilities
- Carries out needs assessment programmes to ascertain local law Enforcement requirements and then assists in developing and
implementing strategies in line with international standards
- Sets priorities and develops with others, policy guidelines for all Presence related law enforcement development activities
- Provides reports on relevant policing matters to the Head of the Department
- Liaises with other Missions and other relevant partners on law enforcement issues as required
- Develops close working partnerships with senior representatives from: the Ministry of the Interior Affairs, local law enforcement;
international police missions and the wider international community and NGOs in order to co-ordinate police assistance and development
programmes
