The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is seeking an experienced Transparency and Accountability Project Coordinator who will ensure effective implementation of the project “National and Local Integrity Systems” and other transparency and accountability /anti-corruption initiatives of UNDP.
Under supervision of UNDP Country Office and in the close cooperation with the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption and other relevant institutions, the Transparency and Accountability Project Coordinator will be responsible for management and implementation of relevant project activities, including responsibility for the administrative and financial aspects of the project management.
Duration: 12 month
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
-University Degree in Political Science, Economy, Public or Business Administration or other relevant field.
-Master degree is a strong asset.
Professional experience:
• Senior professional, with ideally 5 or more years of relevant professional management experience preferably on similar initiatives
(minimum of 3 years with MA);
• Knowledge of the public administration/anti-corruption/governance issues in general and in particular comparative experiences/models;
• Previous experience in overseeing and implementing similar projects, would be an asset;
• Demonstrated experience in liaising and co-operating with national and local institutions, NGOs and private sector;
• Excellent communications, report writing and analytical skills.
Language Requirements:
-Language proficiency in both written and oral English and Macedonian.
-Knowledge of Albanian language and/or languages of other communities shall be considered an asset.
