Description                                                                              Maximum amount: 500 000 USD

Through this Annual Program Statement (APS), USAID/Serbia intends to assist Serbian organizations supporting local civic activism and policy advocacy initiatives, particularly outside of Belgrade and major cities, that, include but are not limited to, (1) advancing Serbia‘s Euro-Atlantic integration process; (2) improving prospects for local Serbian philanthropy to expand potential sources of civil society support and its sustainability; (3) strengthening the rule of law, public oversight, and institutional transparency and accountability; and (4) improving conditions for economic growth opportunities through civil society action.

3. Sustaining the Civil Society Sector
4. Workforce/Entrepreneurship Skills Improved


Eligibility

Any legally registered Serbian civil society organization/association is eligible to submit applications under this APS. For-profit companies are not eligible to be prime recipients of a grant, but may be members of a consortium with a civil society organization as the lead. Organizations may submit applications individually or in partnership with other international or local organizations.

Estimated Total Program Funding: $1,000,000


Size of grants

   - minimum amount: 200 000 USD
   - maximum amount: 500 000 USD
