The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is seeking an experience Coordinator officer who will ensure  the effective implementation of the projects: “Strengthening National Capacities for Monitoring and Implementation of the national Social Inclusion Strategy’ and “Strengthening Local Capacities for Provision of Social Services.” , carried out in cooperation with Ministry for Labor and Social Policy.
Under supervision of UNDP Country Office and in the close cooperation with the Ministry for Labor and Social Policy, the Coordinator Officer will be primary engaged in supporting the MLSP in implementing project activities envisaged in project documentation including coordination, management and implementation of the above mentioned projects.

Duration: 6 months

Required Skills and Experience

Education:

    -University Degree in social science or other relevant field.
    -Master degree is a strong asset.

Professional experience:

   • At least 3 years for candidates with BA (2 years for candidates with MA) , work experience in different processes relevant for
     development/implementation/involvement of similar by scope and size projects, strategies/national level policies or similar.
   • Experience in jobs requiring ability to absorb, analyze and synthesize large amounts of complex information within tight deadlines.
   • Evident experience in liaising and co-operating with government officials, local municiaplities, NGOs and private sector;
   • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office; Windows XP, Internet); excellent communications, report writing and analytical skills.

Language Requirements:

    -Language proficiency in both written and oral English and Macedonian.  Knowledge of Albanian language and/or languages of other
     communities shall be considered an asset.
