OSCE MISSION TO UKRAINE/ TRAINING OFFICER (VACANCY NUMBER: VNSMUS00278)

Responsibilities

   - Liaises and co-ordinates with other Training Officers for planned training activities of all Mission members including local staff;
   - In close co-operation with members of the Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) Training Team, develops and delivers operational and
     security training to all Mission members;
   - In co-ordination with the Training Co-ordinator, liaises closely with Team Leaders and Security Officers in the field in order to conduct
     regular training needs assessments;
   - In co-ordination with the Training Co-ordinator, develops training modules and lessons in the OSCE standard for security and operations
     training activities, and ensures regular updates of training packages;
   - Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the security and operational training;
   - Performs other related duties as assigned.


Requirements

   - University degree or equivalent in social sciences, police, military or related field
   - Trainer/Instructor in operations or security procedures
   - Demonstrated experience in planning and designing training packages including operations and security training
   - Demonstrated experience in developing, planning and delivering training related to operations and security
   - Excellent communication, presentation and team-building skills
   - Ability to cope with physical hardship and willingness to work extra hours and in an environment with limited infrastructure; proven
     resilience to high stress environment
   - Ability to work with minimum supervision in an environment where rapid response to emergencies is essential
   - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds whilst maintaining
     impartiality and objectivity
