Background Total budget of the call: EUR 2.430.000
The Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia and The Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro
in cooperation with The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro and The Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Croatia are seeking proposals dealing with the following priority measures:
(1) Joint actions for environment, nature and cultural heritage protection
(2) Joint tourism and cultural space
(3) Small cross-border community development projects
Budget:
The overall indicative amount of € 2,430,000 is made available for financing actions under this Call for Proposals.

Measure 1.1: Joint actions for environment, nature and cultural heritage protection

Measure 1.2: Joint tourism and cultural space

Measure 1.3: Small cross-border community development projects

Eligibility:
The cross-border eligible and adjacent Programme areas where project activities must be implemented are:
-In the Republic of Croatia – The Dubrovnik-Neretva County as eligible area and the Split-Dalmatia County as adjacent area;
-In Montenegro – The municipalities of Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat, Budva, Bar, Ulcinj and Cetinje as eligible areas and those of Nikšić,
Podgorica and Danilovgrad as adjacent areas.
To be eligible applicants must:
-be nationals of Croatia, Montenegro, a Member State of the European Union, other IPA beneficiary country, a country that is a beneficiary
of the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument, or a Member State of the European Economic Area, with the exception of
the international inter-governmental organisations, and
-be registered or accredited in Croatia when applying for the allocation assigned to Croatia and be registered or accredited in Montenegro
when applying for the allocation assigned to Montenegro at least one year before the publication of this Call, and
-be non profit making legal persons, excluding private educational centres and research institutes, established by public or private law for
the purposes of public interest or the specific purpose of meeting needs of general interest, and
-belong, for all 3 measures, to one of the following categories:
o Public companies or bodies in charge of communal infrastructure and waste management (utility companies);
o Fire/emergency services;
o Local and regional self-government units, local/municipal boards and their institutions; Agencies and other public bodies in charge of
environmental and nature protection;
o Non-governmental organisations and foundations, including the Red Cross and Red Crescent national societies;
o Regional/local development agencies;
o Local and regional tourist associations and organisations, including tourist boards;
o Business support institutions, such as the chambers of commerce, crafts and trades, and social partners;
o Public and private educational centres and research institutes;
o Institutions and associations in culture;
o Public social service providers (Centres for social welfare, Health centres, Labour market institutions etc.);
o National authorities/institutions or state agencies;
o International inter-governmental organisations;
