EUROPEAID/136094/IH/SER/TR: IPA - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR IMPROVING ADMINISTRATIVE CAPACITY OF BORDER MANAGEMENT AT LOCAL LEVEL

Description

The purpose of the project is to raise awareness in civil administration, notably among the district governors responsible for or connected with border management issues on a local level, and to develop necessary educational structure and a set of courses for a continuous training environment. The activities expected to be delivered are developing a training programme, as well as a curriculum by analysing existing training systems regarding border authorities on the integrated border management in the selected Member States and conducting training needs assessment, arranging study visits to selected member countries, developing training materials and providing trainings for 300 local level administrators.


Eligibility

Participation is open to all legal persons participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of tenderers which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. All goods supplied under this contract must originate in one or more of these countries. Participation is also open to international organisations. Participation of natural persons is directly governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.

Maximum budget 1,705,000 EUR
