OSCE MISSION TO MONTENEGRO/ ORGANIZED CRIME POLICE ADVISER (VACANCY NUMBER: VNMNGS00034)

Responsibilities

   - Manages all needs assessment exercises designed to assess local law enforcement requirements and develops and implements technical
     assistance in terms of developing and implementing national strategies in co-operation with our partners and in line with international
     standards and best practices;
   - Sets priorities and helps to develop guidelines for all Mission related law enforcement project activities;
   - Works closely with the authorities in developing and implementing a national strategy and annual action plan for fighting serious and
     organized crime;
   - Manages all relevant training activities and/or specialized assistance provided to local partners in fighting organized crime;
   - Analyses the implementation of the Mission's organized crime programme;
   - Provides regular reports to the Programme Manager on relevant policing matters;


Requirements

   - Experience from a command or management operational position in a national police environment
   - Extensive professional experience in the areas/s of organized crime
   - Experience in the following areas: strategic development and planning; programme management, staff supervision; monitoring and
     evaluation
   - Excellent drafting and analytical skills
   - Professional fluency in the English language, both oral and written
   - Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and with limited time frames
