HUMAN DYNAMICS/SUPPORT TO IMPLEMENTATION OF BIRDS AND HABITATS DIRECTIVES IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA/KEY EXPERT 1 - TEAM LEADER

Duration of the assignment: 400 work days over 24 months

Requirements

Qualifications and skills:

    - University degree in biology, environmental science or another related discipline
    - Good written and verbal command in English
    - Excellent communication, analytical  and organisational skills
    - Proficiency in report drafting
    - Excellent team working abilities

General professional experience:

    - At least 10 year of relevant professional experience in environmental management
    - Experience in project management (participation as Team Leader or equivalent position in minimum 2 projects related to the subject of
      this contract)

Specific professional experience:

    - Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementation of Birds and Habitats Directives in EU Member States and/or Potential and
      Candidate Countries
    - Experience in capacity building of institutions with a nature and biodiversity conservation mandate (minimum 2 projects related to this
      area)  
   - Experience in popularising scientific issues of conservation concern will be considered an advantage
