HUMAN DYNAMICS/SUPPORT TO IMPLEMENTATION OF BIRDS AND HABITATS DIRECTIVES IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA/KEY EXPERT 2 - BIODIVERSITY SPECIALIST

Duration of the assignment: 300 work days over 24 months

Requirements

Qualifications and skills:

    - University degree in biology, environmental science or other related discipline
    - Good written and verbal command in English
    - Excellent communication, analytical  and organisational skills
    - Proficiency in report drafting
    - Excellent team working abilities

General professional experience:

   - At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in nature and biodiversity conservation

Specific professional experience:

   - At least 5 years experience in biodiversity inventorying and mapping
   - Experience in establishment and/or management of protected areas (minimum 2 projects related to this area)
   - Experience in the preparation of conservation models in protected areas (minimum 1 project related to this subject)
   - Experience in biodiversity and conservation work in South East Europe (minimum 1 project related to this subject)
