Qualifications and skills

    • A bachelor's degree
    • Or equivalent professional experience of 15 years in regional policy development and implementation
    • Full fluency in English, both written and spoken

General professional experience:

    • At least 10 years of experience in the sectors directly related to regional and/or socioeconomic development.

Specific professional experience:

    • At least 5 years but preferably 7 years of experience with programming at national or regional level in the sectors directly related to
       regional and/or socio-economic development either in an EU Member State or in a potential or candidate country in the past 15 years.
    • Must have undertaken at least 3 evaluations of programs and/or strategies supported by either the Structural Funds in the EU or
       Pre-Accession Assistance from the EU to potential and candidate countries related to regional and/or socio-economic development in the
       past 5 years.
    • Position of Team Leader held in at least 2 similar assignments.
