UNDP MACEDONIA/ PROJECT MANAGER/MIGRATION AND DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR

Background

The purpose of this position is to ensure the day-to-day implementation of project activities and the provision of high quality advice on migration/displacement and development.

Responsibilities

  - Provide day-to-day management and coordination of project activities
  - Act as focal point on migration and displacement related issues for the UNDP Country Office
  - Provide high quality and timely advisory support on migration and development to the UNDP Resident Representative
  - Support resource mobilization efforts
  - Lead knowledge management on migration/displacement and development and represent the project in government and non-governmental
    forums

Requirements

  - A university degree in social science, political science, law, international relations, engineering or other related fields.  A Masters will be
    considered as a strong asset.
  - At least 5 years (3 years for candidates with MA) of experience on or directly related the design, implementation, management and
    monitoring of development projects;
  - Language proficiency in both written and oral English and Macedonian
