Contract description
The objective is to continue supporting the development of the penitentiary and probation systems in Georgia with special regard to the protection of human rights, enhanced security, infrastructural developments, staff's capacities and management, prisoners' classification and database, individual sentence planning, resocialization and rehabilitation programmes, specific treatment of juvenile offenders, conditional release (parole), fair treatment of victims, as well as enhancement of the probation services.

Maximum budget: EUR 2 250 000
Eligibility
Participation is open to all natural persons who are nationals of and legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping – consortium - of tenderers) which are effectively established in a Member State of the European Union or in a eligible country or territory as defined under the Regulation (EU) N°236/2014 establishing common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for external action (CIR) for the applicable Instrument under which the contract is financed (see also heading 29 below). Participation is also open to international organizations.
