The candidates must have the following qualifications:
-Completed secondary education, with whatever possible, additional relevant specified studies
-Computer literacy with practical experience in MS Windows applications
-Minimum two years of office experience with established ability to translate and interpret, preferably acquired in an International
Organization
-Excellent written and oral communicational skills in English and in the local language (including knowledge of Albanian language)
-Good public relation skills
-Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds
-Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and responsibilities
The incumbent will, under the supervision of the responsible officer, perform the following services:
-provide translation and/or consecutive interpretation during individual interviews, meetings, conferences, seminars, training courses
-assist in organizing conferences, seminars, training courses and meetings with a variety of national and international attendees
translate as applicable, legal, administrative or technical documents, training material and all types of correspondence, for local
languages to English and vice versa
-assist in maintaining and updating files and reports and other relevant materials
-assist in research of information/documents required by the supervisor
-provide community structure information such as local officials, potential parties, NGOs and other relevant information, and perform
other tasks as required.
