Requirements
- University degree in international relations, political science, security studies, public policy, public administration or another related
discipline
- A minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience in a role requiring policy analysis, reporting, and development and
dissemination of strategic communications in an international context
- Professional fluency in English, both oral and written
Responsibilities
- Deputizing for the Head of the Security Co-operation Unit, as required
- Providing analysis and advice for the planning, development and execution of Section policy, activities and projects, and for information
dissemination
- Supporting the Head of of the Security Co-operation in project management of individual work-streams within the unit, as required
- Providing analysis and advice to the Head of the Security Co-operation Unit and to the Head of Mission (HoM), as required, on policy
matters of the in situations of BiH and international organizations within the area of comprehensive security and politico-military affairs
- Contributing to policy discussions related to security co-operation and politico-military affairs among the Mission Senior Staff members, to
include conducting research on selected topics of Mission interest and drafting background and working papers, as well as policy
briefings
