Background
To complement programme interventions specifically related to inclusion of children with disabilities, UNICEF has, in close collaboration with disability advocates, developed a multi-year (2016-2020) communication strategy with the overall goal to mobilize broad support and increase the number of citizens supporting equal rights and inclusion of children with disabilities; at the same time build the capacity of rights holders so that they can be agents of change.
Eligibility
Applications can be made by either:
- CSOs that manage an existing inclusive initiative and wish to scale up the programme to other areas; or
- SOs that have proven experience in organising and managing established reputable festivals, media programme, and or annual event/s.
CSO must:
- be registered in the country
- Have sound management ability and internal capacity to allocate human resources to this partnership
- Experience working with UN/UNICEF as an asset.
