Background
The "Economic and Social Empowerment for Roma and Egyptians- a booster for social inclusion" (ESERE) project is funded by the European Union and aims to further improve the social inclusion of most vulnerable communities consisting of Roma and Egyptians in Albania, with focus in the regions of Tirana, Durrës, Shkodra and Berat. The project’s purpose is to promote the economic and social empowerment of Roma and Egyptian communities in Albania by standardizing an innovative and integrated new approach at the policy and programming level and to provide integrated social inclusion models at sub-national level focusing in the regions of Tirana, Durrës, Shkodra and Berat.
Responsibilities
- Review other positive practices and experiences implemented by key stakeholders on behavior change for social inclusion of vulnerable
groups.
- Conduct training needs assessment of public servants at local and national level with recommendations on possible ways to address
knowledge, information, gaps and needs on the problems Roma and Egyptians face with regards to access basic services.
- Develop a model of Behavior Change, including guidelines and toolkit, for changing
attitudes and behaviors of public servants. to change attitudes and behaviors with regards to Roma and Egyptians’ access to public services.
- Develop guidelines and tools for assessing and monitoring training workshops quality and outcomes.
- Prepare final report as agreed with UNDP/ESERE project
Required Skills and Experience
- Master studies in Communication, Social Sciences, Public Administration or any other related field.
- Minimum of 10 years professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in developing communication tools/materials, communication strategies, and communication for behavior
change.
- Technical and excellent proven knowledge in developing and implementing behavioral change models.
- Fluency in written and spoken Albanian and English.
