Background
The overarching goal of the project is to save energy and to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases by increasing energy efficiency of municipal lighting in the cities of Armenia via implementation of municipal investment programs and national policies. The proposed project is in compliance with the national priorities to strengthen the economic and energy independence of the Republic of Armenia by promoting resources efficient and climate resilient growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist project coordinator in consultations with city administrations, financial institutions and donor assisted projects
- Collect and evaluate the lighting system data
- Assess the energy audit recommendations for the selected municipal lighting systems so far done by the project expert team;
- Execute audits of selected municipal lighting systems in the target municipalities in the regions of Armenia;
- Conduct comparative economic an? environmental analysis of the proposed program with business;
- Develop city lighting programs.
Required Skills and Experience
- University degree in the engineering, physics.
- At least 5 years of working experience in related field, as well as working experience with international organizations.
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian, working knowledge of English and Russian is a must.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, internet browsers).
