Background
Under the project focused on development of Open data platform for rural agriculture financed under UNDP 2015 Catalytic and Scaling-up Facility for Europe and the CIS and implemented by UNDP CO Montenegro with expected outputs:
- Functioning digital Platform in two Municipalities in Northern Montenegro is used to support decision making for the distribution of support
services to agriculture and information exchange leading to better integration of agriculture planning within overall municipality planning.
Platform provides clear and sensible segregation of data per criteria as: gender, age, location, production etc. in order to provide better and
detailed vulnerability assessment;
- Representatives of municipalities’ agriculture services, unions of agriculture producers, local NGOs, product brokers and interested producers
and project team are trained for data collection and analysis;
- Data are collected and trainings delivered in a manner to reflect women participation in agriculture production process in factual manner in
order to recognize actual contribution as well as to open up possibility for improved usage of IT tools;
- Competition for design of ICT solution that would use data and newly developed platform for improvement of agriculture services (for
example a mobile application or other form that would rely on developed platform database).
Competences
The professional competence of team (Interested provider should secure, as minimum, listed expertise):
- University degree in the field of economical science;
- Surveying experience;
- Previous experience in supporting women empowerment;
- Previous experience in supporting women entrepreneurship;
- Knowledge of the natural and social effects of agriculture;
- Knowledge of agriculture legal framework;
- Work experience in the agriculture would be considered as advantage;
- Work experience in pilot municipalities would be considered as advantage;
- Professional experience in gender assessments and gender responsive analyses would be considered as advantage
